Amid the COVID 19 Pandemic and the impact on the wellbeing of the people globally including Nigerians, the need for collective action and efforts of both governments, corporate organizations and the civil society groups to step up  to assist the vulnerable and people in need motivated the management of AGRITED, Nigeria’s leading livestocks/poultry company to give back to the communities in Ogun and Oyo State over N40million worth of Livestocks/Chicks  and feeds with a view to avert what could become a major challenge and the scarcity of one of the most essential protein product – Chicken.

The products which will not only empower the people will ensure, in a couple of weeks the people of these communities will have enough chicken to feed while also starting their own small businesses.

The Agrited Founder and Managing Director, Mr. CHAIM ZACH represented by the Deputy General Manager, Mr. Moty Ganon, led the team to the communities where the palliatives were distributed to the residents of Fiditi, Oyo State where  the newly built multi-billion Naira Farm is located; Ajebo in Ogun State, another areas of Agrited Operation and Ibusogboro, also in Oluyole Local Government, Oyo State also benefitted from the palliatives.

Present during the presentation for the palliatives to the people of Ibusogboro, Oyo State was the commissioner for Agriculture, Oyo State, Honourable Ojekunle Jacob, the Executive Adviser to the Oyo State Governor on Agriculture, Dr. Debo Akande.  The team were received by the very appreciative people of the community led by the Baale of Ibusogboro, Busari Salami, while at Ajebo Town in Ogun State, the team were received by the highly elated and highly appreciative people led by the Olu of Ajebo Town, Ogun State, Chief Olawale Oluwole.

Speaking on behalf of the Managing Director during the presentation the Deputy General Manager of Agrited, Mr. Moty Gano confirmed the readiness of Agrited to continue to support the people in whatever ways possible to ameliorate the current challenges and the burden of the pandemic the people are going through at this time and at all times, not only in the community but the entire state.













While thanking Agrited for the support and the palliative on behalf of the State Governor, Engr. Remi Makinde, FNSE, the Honourable Commisioner for Agriculture, Oyo State, Hon. Jacob and the Executive Assistant to the Oyo State Governor of Agriculture, Dr. Akande expressed the willingness of the state government to continue to support Agrited in whatever ways possible to ensure unhindered operation. They also commended the company and the Founder and Managing Director, Mr. Zach for standing by Oyo State and Nigeria at this trying time which is a reflection of a socially responsible company.













While Appreciating the kind gesture which must have cost the company over N40M, the Baale of Ibusogboro, Oyo State and the Olu of Ajebo, Ogun State confirmed the willingness of the communities to continue to support the company at all times.
